Judgement

"Defeat all that stand before you to reach the final throne."

–In-game description

Judgement is the final Providence Trial in Risk of Rain Returns, requiring all other Trials to be completed before it is unlocked. During this trial, the player is faced with waves of enemies across ten stages, with items in multishop terminals to choose before each one. The trial can be played as any survivor, however they must use their default skills. Completing the trial unlocks a skin for the character used, as well as its corresponding secret achievement.

Modifiers

  • You start at level 1.
  • You deal 125% damage.
  • Your health does not naturally regenerate.
  • Falling out of bounds is lethal.

Defeating all Umbras will spawn Providence, who will go through his 4 phases as usual; umbras will continue to randomly spawn throughout the fight. Defeating Providence will end the trial.

Notes

  • Despite the in-game description listing the gold rank as completing the trial in 16:40, the actual requirement is completing the trial as every survivor, regardless of time.
  • The equipment transfer chest found on the stage Risk of Rain will appear on the first stage of Judgement for $44 as long as there is an equipment stored inside.
