Cremator

The Cremator is one of the game's bosses.
Description
The Cremator is a massive reptilian shelled creature resembling Earth tortoises. It is a charred black color all throughout, with its underside and head clad in a deep earthy orange color. Its shell houses multiple orifices that are able to violently expel molten projectiles in an artillery-like manner. The Cremator spends its time basking in the scalding magma of its habitat, seemingly resistant to its extreme heat.
Behaviour
The Cremator can only spawn inside of lava pools in the Magma Barracks, and moves horizontally alongside them. It attacks by shooting a multitude of projectiles towards the player with varying spread, indicated by white crosshairs before landing. It can also ram towards survivors who are close to it and damage them on contact with its maw.
The Cremator takes reduced damage from its backside, and must be damaged in the head in order to take full damage. It is completely immune to all staggers and stuns.

I could not believe my eyes as this creature erupted from the lava. My suit's temperature gauges screeched in warning. How can anything subsist in such heat? The lava parts in waves as the monster swims rapidly through it.
Through craters in the Cremator's thick back armor red hot boulders explode in every direction. The amount of heat and pressure within its body must be a source of immense power. However, its head does not appear as well protected. I pray that it is a source of weakness, for if this leviathan bests me I know there will be no remains left to mark my short existence.
Version History
- Fixed Cremator being allowed to spawn in certain locations which it was intended to be blacklisted from.
