The Loader is a playable character in Risk of Rain Returns.

  • Editor's note: The in-game description of 350% damage is incorrect.
  • Short Circuit's travel distance scales with movement speed.
  • Enemies within the smaller range will be hit by both instances of damage.
  • Each of the 2 hits can crit independently and trigger on-hit effects.
  • The duration of Short Circuit's stun depends on how close to the point of impact enemies are.

  • Holding a direction while using Hydraulic Gauntlet will cause Loader to stop in front of a grabbed enemy, facing the held direction. Not holding a direction will cause him to fly past a grabbed enemy instead.

  • M440 Conduit is a valid grapple target for Hydraulic Gauntlet.
  • There is a 2s delay before the second lightning rod can be placed.
  • If the two lightning rods are placed diagonally, all enemies within the square triangle formed by the rods, with the lightning as the hypotenuse, will take damage.
  • As of version 1.0.5, the stun effect for M700X Discharge Conduit has not been implemented.
