As Engineer, defeat 50 enemies before they reach the bottom. In order to unlock this trial you need to unlock Engineer and complete either From All Angles, Inner Demons, Get Off My Lawn! or Juggling Priorities. Successfully completing it will unlock the alternate primary ability Mortar BarrageMortar Barrage

Launch mortar rounds in an arc for 80% damage. Can move while firing.
Survivor: Engineer for Engineer.

• You start with 3 max HP.
• Your health does not naturally regenerate.

Utility
Launch four heat-seeking harpoons for 4x250% damage.
Survivor: Engineer, showcasing the ability Mortar Barrage by having the player use it to defeat enemies. Enemies spawn at the top of the tank and slowly sink to the bottom. A color difference between sections of the tank marks the Mortar BarrageMortar Barrage
Primary
Launch mortar rounds in an arc for 80% damage. Can move while firing.
Survivor: Engineer's vertical range when shot at the peak of a jump. The player can gain experience and recieves 2 stacks of Paul's Goat HoofPaul's Goat Hoof
Move faster.
Increases movement speed by 15% (+15% per stack). every level up. Different enemies have different behaviours in the water:

• Children sink slowly and can more horizontally
• Lemurians sink faster the higher the player's level is
• Sand Crabs sink quickly
• Rock Golems sink slowly
• Gips sink very slowly

Any time an enemies reaches the bottom of the tank, the player will take 1 damage, and will die after being hit 3 times. Thermal HarpoonsThermal Harpoons6s CD
Utility
Launch four heat-seeking harpoons for 4x250% damage.
Survivor: Engineer does not naturally recharge, but each enemy killed has a 5% chance to spawn Targets around the tank that grant a bonus charge when broken. Additionally, bonus restocks will spawn at 10, 30, 60, and 100 points.

The trial ends as soon as the player dies; if 50 enemies aren't defeated by that point, the trial will be failed. A score of 135 is required in order to achieve gold.
