Fire three shotgun blasts for 3x300% damage. More effective on larger enemies. Fires downwards when used airborne.

The trial ends as soon as the player dies; if 85 Lemurians aren't defeated by that point, the trial will be failed. A score of at least 250 is required in order to achieve gold.

Playthrough

Strategy

There is a very easy strategy to achieve both the 85 kills needed for completion or the 250 kills needed for the gold crown. Simply stand in the position shown in the image below and hold down your primary fire button. The regular lemurians will constantly file in by climbing the rope and usually die right as they finish climbing up. No Elder Lemurians will be able to reach you. Occasionally, you may get hit by a flaming elite's missiles, but you shouldn't die before you finish getting all the kills you need.

Standing here keeps you safe from most attacks and allows you to easily get both the 85 and 250 kills
