Opens locked security doors.
Opens locked security doors interacted with while held. Consumed on use. Keycard is a special item found in Risk of Rain in gold containers and dropped by monsters. They can open doors in the Contact Light. Four are required to open all doors, though some rooms can be accessed without doing so. Keycards are also found in Providence Trials, serving a similar purpose. Enemies that hold Keycards are marked with a purple icon above them.

Tips & Notes

• Collecting four Keycards in one run completes the Endless Voyager challenge; Unlocking the Wicked RingWicked Ring
  Critical strikes reduce all your cooldowns by 1.
  Gain 5% (+10% per stack) critical chance. Critical strikes reduce cooldowns by 1 second.. Not all of them must be held at once; any can be used.
• In multiplayer, each player can only use their own Keycards; pay attention to who picks them up.
• Temporary Keycards may be obtained with the Substandard DuplicatorSubstandard Duplicator
  Picked up items yield an additional temporary copy.
  Picking up an item gives you a temporary copy of itself. Temporary items last an additional 10 (+10 per stack) seconds. These can still be used to open doors, but they are not consumed on use. This is likely to be a bug.

• As it is a special item, there is no item log for the Keycard.
