The Artifact of Enigma makes all players spawn with a random equipment that changes every time it's activated. Additionally, though not stated in the item description, all equipment drops are replaced with

Reduce the cooldown of equipment.
Reduce equipment cooldown by 5% (+5% per stack)., which reduces equipment cooldown.
Locations
The Artifact of Enigma can found on Sunken Tomb #1, #2 and #3 in the bottom right of the map where there will be a drop-down to a cove. You must then move right and eventually be boosted up by a hidden geyser, taking you to a tunnel where the artifact lies at the end of.
Trivia
- The Artifact of Enigma is one of the original Artifacts from Risk of Rain (2013).
- As such, it is one of the artifacts required to unlock Origin.
