Tiny Imp
Tiny Imps are monsters and enemies in Risk of Rain Returns.
Description
Tiny Imps are infant Black Imps that aren't capable of combat or teleportation.
They typically inhabit small black urns and are forced to run away from predators when their habitats are overturned.
Behavior
Once spawned, the imps will immediately scatter away from the player in different directions, frequently hopping weakly to try and escape their demise.
Spawning
Tiny Imps are spawned when interacting with an Imp Shrine. They scatter in all directions, running away from the player before despawning after a few seconds.
The player needs to eliminate every imp under 15 seconds in order to receive an item from the shrine.
A different number of imps will spawn depending on the number of players present:
Number of players | Number of imps |
---|---|
1 | 5 |
2 | 8 |
3 | 11 |
4 | 14 |
Monster Log
I seem to have found the one creature on this planet that DOESN'T want to kill me. These small, leathery creatures are spawned from vases I sometimes spot in the ruins. They seem to stay in packs, and frequently carry useful treasure.
Immediately after spawning, these tiny imps run in all directions. While I do feel a bit.. awful.. about killing what seems to be the equivalent of children, I need the treasure they hold if I'm to survive. I'm sorry.
