Gilded Wurms
The Gilded Wurms are special bosses.
Description
The Gilded Wurms appear to be a genetically modified species of Magma Worm, tamed by Providence to assist him as his personal guard.
The red Wurm has red scales and a black underside with light cyan accentuations, with spikes lining its entire body, and possesses two inward curved horns on its head.
The black Wurm has pitch black scales with various dull red and cyan markings adorning its head.
Unlike the Magma Worm, both Wurms have one jaw with vertical mandibular movement, and two white eyes. Their mouths contain gnashing teeth, which are a cyan color. Additionally, they’re capable of flight via unknown means, and are not seeing burrowing underground.
Both Wurms are capable of manipulating vast amounts of energy, although with differing methods.
The red Wurm breathes powerful red beams of energy at perpetrators.
The black Wurm projects bright blue spheres of light that charge up momentarily and launch towards enemies.
Behavior
The Gilded Wurms behave similarly to Magma Worms but are able to fly through the air. The blue Wurm regularly sparks electricity around itself. The red Wurm ignites any ground it touches.
They have the following attacks:
- The Wurm's head flashes red and charges at the player, dealing damage on contact. Both Wurms possess this ability.
- A white reticle appears on the player. The red Wurm shoots a continuous red beam at the Player from its mouth, dealing damage in the point of impact and everything between it.
- The black Wurm shoots multiple white projectiles that behave similarly to Providence's.
Once both Wurms are killed, Providence will return to the arena to begin Phase 3.

Spawned solely by Providence during his second phase.
Monster Log
Gilded Wurms do not have a monster log.
