Information

The Artifact of Kin will select an enemy at the beginning of each stage (displayed on the player's HUD) and all new enemies for the duration of the stage will be of that same type; this includes the teleporter boss, which will always be a horde of many if a normal enemy is selected.

Locations

The Artifact of Kin can be found on Dried Lake #1, #2 and #3 behind a breakable wall on the right side of the map. Pressing all 3 buttons inside the room in quick succession will spawn the artifact.
